WAYNESBURG (Aug. 11)—The Waynesburg University football team has announced that it will host its annual media day at John F. Wiley Stadium on Saturday, Aug. 23. The event will start at 11:30 a.m. and will last approximately 90 minutes. During that time, head coach
Rick Shepas, assistant coaches and players will be available for interviews with the media.
Following the event, the Yellow Jackets will scrimmage with Carnegie Mellon in Waynesburg, with the starting time expected between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m.
Waynesburg, who returns 16 starters this year, begins the 2008 season with a home opener against Wooster on Saturday, Sept. 6, at John F. Wiley Stadium.
