LATROBE, Pa., (Oct. 31) – The Waynesburg University men's cross country team finished in 5th place today out of 6 schools competing in this year's Presidents' Athletic Conference Championship 8K race.
Junior Adam Swingle led the way for the Jackets with a time of 29:45 and finished in 16th place out of 61 total runners. Classmate Bill Moder was the second individual leader for the Jackets with a 24th-place finish and a time of 30:35.
Coming in right behind Moder for Waynesburg was sophomore Kameron Schaefer, finishing in 25th place with a 30:39 finishing time.
Grove City won their 19th-straight conference team title. The Wolverines placed their top three runners as the top three overall individuals. Top finisher, Garrett Cichowitz, came in with an impressive mark of 16:01.

The Jacket men will compete in their final event of the 2009 season at the NCAA Mideast Regionals on Nov. 14 at Lehigh University.
