With the loss, the Jackets dropped to 14-4-1 (5-3-1 PAC), while the Saints improved to 10-4-1 (7-1-1 PAC). Waynesburg was outshot 29-4 in the match, with senior goalkeeper
Katrina Kelly making nine saves in net for the Jackets.
Despite the loss, the Yellow Jackets are still in contention for the PAC playoffs, in which the top four teams from the regular season compete for the conference championship. The Jackets must now await their PAC playoff fate, as it rests in the hands of outside factors.
