Junior Addy Knetzer had her full athletic repertoire on display for both the Waynesburg women’s basketball and track & field teams. Knetzer averaged 11.5 points and 10.5 rebounds for the Jackets on the court over two games. Included in that split was her 16th double-double of the year, which came on 17 points and 18 rebounds against the number-two team in the country, Thomas More, in the Presidents’ Athletic (PAC) semifinals on Friday.

As if that wasn’t enough, Knetzer traveled to Youngstown State University on Thursday to compete in the PAC Indoor Track & Field Championships. Despite not throwing competitively since May 6, 2016, Knetzer bested the field in the shot put by breaking her own school and meet record. Her top toss sailed 12.93 meters (42-5.25), which was 1.67 meters longer than the second-place finisher. Thanks in part to that toss, the Waynesburg women won their first PAC indoor team title.
