Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse

Named for former head basketball coach and Director of Athletics Rudy Marisa, this facility houses the Department of Athletics, two gymnasiums, locker rooms, weight room, wrestling room and fitness center. The primary gymnasium, located on the west side of the building, holds a 1,350 seating capacity for basketball, wrestling and volleyball.

John F. Wiley Stadium

The 4,000-seat stadium was dedicated in 1998 and constructed for the 1999 season, honoring the school's former head football coach and trustee member. The structure stands five stories tall and its bleachers include seatbacks, making it a premier college venue. In the summer of 2006, an artificial FieldTurf surface was installed at the stadium, which was replaced and updated prior to the 2017 season. In 2021, a state-of-the-art video board and public address system were installed. In 2023, a 250-foot retaining wall with a 25-foot-high net and lighs was constructed, along with locker room renovations, covered benches, an athletic training room addition to the stadium fieldhouse, parking lot expansion and a pavilion built in the end zone for events. The facility plays hosts to all home football, men's soccer, women's soccer and lacrosse games.

Mo Scarry Skybox
Football Skybox
The Mo Scarry Skybox caters toward VIP guests at John F. Wiley Stadium. The skybox is adjacent to the press box, which holds the radio, television, and sports information game day operations. The facility is named in honor of the former Waynesburg head football coach and Miami Dolphins assistant.


Baseball & Softball Complex
Baseball Field
Completed prior to the 2010 season, Waynesburg's home baseball field featured an artificial surface infield and a 12-foot high wall that stretches from the left field foul pole to left center field. Bleachers are located along the first base line. Prior to the 2021-22 school year, the facility received a major upgrade that converted it into the home of both spring diamond programs. Among the highlights were a new artificial infield surface that includes the pitchers mound and batters boxes, as well as a removable mound and fence, both of which were top of the line when they were added to the facility.

Bechtle Family Tennis Facility
Touched up tennis courts
The home of the Waynesburg University tennis teams sits just behind the outfield wall of the school's baseball/softball facility. The courts are surrounded by fencing with rounded California corners and feature green Decoturf surfacing, which is the same surface used in Flushing Meadows, N.Y. for the U.S. Open. Bleachers, parking and storage units complete the Jackets' home. Lights were added to the facility in September 2023.

Wrestling Room

The Waynesburg University Wrestling team opened up its current practice facility in July of 2011. The Yellow Jackets' practice home is located in the renovated Captain Robert C. Wiley Armory, which used to house the local Army National Guard unit. It features two full-size wrestling mats, five-foot high wall mats, cardio equipment and areas dedicated to stretch band and kettle bell workouts.

Esports Arena

The state-of-the-art Waynesburg Esports Area was completed in spring of 2022 and is the home of the Waynesburg Esports program. The area is one of the largest in the region with 25 stations, an Optoma projector and separate viewing room.

Fitness Center
Fitness Center
In February of 2010, Waynesburg opened the doors on its two-story fitness center, which is located adjacent to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse. It features an upper level completely dedicated to cardiovascular fitness, a lower level with both free weights and resistance equipment, new men's and women's locker rooms and several flat screen televisions located on both levels. The center is free to use for students, faculty and staff.

The Waynesburg University athletic training department provides state of the art health care and rehabilitation for all 18 varsity athletic teams. The athletic training room, located in the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse, is operated by three full-time BOC Certified Athletic Trainers, two Graduate Assistants and over 25 Athletic Training Students. The Athletic Training Room is adjacent to each team's locker room, which allows convenient access for injury evaluations, rehabilitation, and treatment.

Greene County Country Club / Swing Lab, Home of Waynesburg University Golf

The Waynesburg University men's and women's golf teams have the privilege of playing at one of the most challenging courses in Pennsylvania. Rated the 20th-most challenging course in the Western side of the state, the Greene County Country Club is located approximately 60 miles south of Pittsburgh and is situated on a rolling, 100-acre property, with every hole defined by majestic, mature evergreens.

The Swing Lab was opened in the fall of 2023 and features three Uneekor Eye XO Simulators that can capture and analyze every aspect of the golf swing and ball flight. The Eye XO launch monitor is a series of overhead cameras that not only captures a wide range of data, but will also capture live video of each swing. The facility also houses 250-square feet of putting green and chipping areas to allow a golfer to work on his or her short game. One unique offering is a multi-sport software that provides a list of different sports and games that can be played on the simulator. Some of the sports in the package are hockey, baseball, soccer, bowling and football.
