Junior wrestler Jake Evans won the feature bout of Friday night's 40-6 win over Thiel. Evans, a returning All-American at heavyweight, defeated the Tomcats' Gage Gladysz, a returning national qualifier who was ranked as high as ninth in the country earlier this year on D3Wrestle.com. Evans defeated Gladysz by 4-2 decision.
