Junior wrestler Jake Evans went 6-0 this past week and dominated nearly every competitor he faced. He opened things up with a 17-7 major decision over Ronnie D'Amico of Division II West Liberty on Wednesday. He followed that up by rolling to the heavyweight title at Saturday's John Summa Memorial Invitational. Evans went 5-0 with two pins and two technical falls before defeating Thiel's Gage Gladysz by 8-1 decision in the finals. Along the way, Evans flew past Waynesburg's all-time wins record of 121 victories. He now boasts a 125-17 overall mark with the Jackets.
