Senior wrestler Jake Evans (Elizabeth, Pa. / Elizabeth-Forward) rolled to the 285-pound title at Saturday's Washington & Jefferson Invitational. Evans strung together three-straight first-period pins to reach the championship final against Lycoming's Garrett Wesneski, who came into the day ranked fifth in the country. Evans defeated the University of Maryland transfer 6-3. He was named Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Wrestler of the Week on Monday.
