Senior Zach Mackall gave Peyton Hearn, a transfer from Division I Edinboro, his first loss of the season during Friday’s 26-12 win over Thiel. Hearn scored first and tried several times to throw or headlock Mackall for a quick win. However, the bigger, stronger, more experienced Mackall kept his head and methodically wore Hearn down for an impressive 15-4 major decision.
