Alonzo averaged 21.5 points and 9.5 rebounds last week to help Waynesburg close out the regular season with a pair of wins. He registered his eighth double-double of the season Wednesday, Feb. 19, in a 76-74 overtime win at Thiel, finishing with 18 points and 10 boards. Alonzo scored six of the Jackets’ 12 points in overtime. He finished with 25 points and nine rebounds in Saturday’s 73-65 win over Bethany. It was his third 20-point outing of the season. The sophomore combined to shoot 44.8 percent (13-29) from the floor and finished 17-of-21 (81.0%) from the free throw line. He was named PAC Men’s Player of the Week on Monday.
