Fischer logged his first win and save of the season at the RussMatt Central Florida Invitational. He tossed 6.1 innings in Tuesday’s win over Concordia, allowing one run with three strikeouts and two walks in the victory. He added a scoreless inning of relief in Saturday’s win over Wartburg for the save. Fischer made three total appearances this past week and sported a 2.70 ERA over 10.0 innings of work.
