Sophomore Ella Brookman (Washington, Pa. / Chartiers-Houston) was a driving force behind a 3-1 week for the Yellow Jackets. She hit .462 (6-13) with a homerun, nine RBIs and six runs scored. She slugged .692 and a pair of walks helped her build a .533 on-base percentage. In the circle, Brookman went 1-0 with a 3.86 ERA. She worked all seven innings in Waynesburg's 11-4 win over Bethany on Sunday.
