Kearns was named PAC Softball Rookie of the Week after hitting .407 (11-27) last week with a pair of doubles, eight RBIs and a team-high 10 runs scored. She slugged .481 and boasted a .467 on-base percentage. Kearns also played error-free defense,. Waynesburg went 5-3 in an eight-game stretch that included a win over PAC-leading Westminster and a sweep of Saint Vincent. She is hitting .338 this spring.
