Coming into this year, junior Mickayla Baniaga was already established as a reliable defensive presence for the Yellow Jackets. In 2022, she’s begun contributing to the Waynesburg offense, as well. Over three matches this past week, Baniaga averaged a team-high 5.50 digs and 1.10 kills per set, which put her at third on the squad. She added a Jacket-best three service aces to her impressive totals.
