Waynesburg got a very productive day from senior track & field standout Katherine Henderson (Hundred, W.Va. / Hundred) at Friday’s Youngstown State University Icebreaker. Already established as one of the top jumpers in the Presidents’ Athletic Conference (PAC) Henderson showcased her abilities in the 60-meter hurdles by finishing in the top half of the 47-woman field. She logged the number-18 time of 10.19 seconds. Henderson went on to post the top mark of any NCAA Division III competitor after clearing 1.55 meters (5-1.02) in the high jump, which was good for sixth overall in the 20-woman field. She added the number-25 distance in the 60-woman long jump (5.10 meters, 16-8.79).
