Freshman Ethan Erhard (Greensburg, Pa. / Hempfield) ended his and his team’s season on a big high note by posting a complete game victory against the number-11 team in the country on Saturday. Erhard allowed three earned runs on six hits, five walks and four strikeouts, as the Yellow Jackets knocked off Denison 9-4 on the Big Red's home field. He held Denison scoreless through five innings and also posted zeroes in the seventh and eighth frames. The win allowed Erhard to finish 4-3 on the mound this spring and earned him the final PAC Rookie of the Week award of 2023.
