Freshman women's soccer player Emily Beck (Pittsburgh, Pa. / West Mifflin) made an impressive transition from forward to goalkeeper this past week. Over 180 minutes compiled during two complete game performances, Beck stopped 13-of-16 shots on goal. One of the goals allowed came on a penalty kick. Prior to making the change to netminder, Beck had already piled up three goals and an assist for seven total points.
