First-year goalkeeper Deven Patel backstopped the Jackets to two shutout wins and helped the team stretch its overall winning streak to three straight, highlighted by a 1-0 road victory at Baldwin Wallace on Saturday—the first win over the Yellow Jackets in program history. Patel stopped four shots in that landmark win after making two saves in a 1-0 triumph at Pitt-Greensburg on September 6. For the week, he totaled 180 shutout minutes with six saves and a perfect 1.000 save percentage, lowering his season goals-against average to 0.67 while improving to 3-1 on the year with two shutouts.
