Sophomore Julia Umshares went 2-0 at No. 4 singles last week, highlighted by delivering the clinching point in Saturday’s 4-3 home win over Mount Aloysius, the Jackets’ first victory of the season. Umshares opened the week by rallying for a 4-6, 6-4, 10-6 super-tiebreak win at Franciscan on Thursday, then secured the decisive match with a 6-7, 6-2, 6-3 comeback against Mount Aloysius.
