2014 Richelle Hall Head Shot

Richele Hall

Richelle Hall returns for her fourth season as the head of the Waynesburg softball program. Hall brings a wealth of coaching experience with her to the position, whether it is at the college, high school or traveling team level.

Hall’s most recent stop was at South Fayette High School, where she served as an assistant with the Lions from 2012 to 2014. This past spring, South Fayette won the Section 2-AAA title after posting going 13-1 overall and 11-1 in section play. The Green and White qualified for the 2014 WPIAL tournament and won their first-round playoff contest.

Prior to her work at South Fayette, Hall spent the 2011-12 season serving as a full-time assistant at Division I Rhode Island. Before taking her position with the Rams, the newest Yellow Jacket head coach got her career in the dugout started at Seton Hill University, where she served as a graduate assistant with the Griffins from 2008 to 2010. Hall also used her time at SHU to earn her Master of Business Administration degree with an emphasis on Management in 2010.

Along with collecting seven years of scholastic experience on the diamond, the Beaver Falls, Pennsylvania native has also served as the head coach of the Team Pennsylvania Cyclones and Pittsburgh Lady Roadrunner club teams.

Prior to building her years of coaching experience, Hall was a standout player at Division I Saint Francis University (Pennsylvania), where she started 196 of the 206 games she appeared in at both third base and catcher. As a senior in 2008, she was selected as team co-captain for the Red Flash before graduating with her Bachelor of Arts degree in sports administration that same year.

Hall graduated from Riverside High School in 2003 after starting all four seasons in a Panther uniform. She was a four-year, first-team all-section pick at third base and a two-time all-state pick in 2000 and 2001, as well as a senior team captain.
