GROVE CITY, Pa. (Oct. 3) – Senior goalkeeper
Amy Mills tied a season high with eight saves in the second half on Wednesday afternoon, as the Yellow Jackets dropped a 4-0 conference match to Grove City College.
Waynesburg moves to 5-5-1 overall with a 1-1 record in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play, while Grove City remains undefeated at 10-0-1 and 2-0 in league play.
The Wolverines started the scoring in the game's 10th minute when Emily Ostlund scored off a past from Elise Bender. Grove City increased its lead to 2-0 at the 32:03-mark when Bender assisted on a Jess Andrew goal.

Paige Yeich kept the game a two-goal difference in the first half, registering six saves in 45 minutes on 12 shot attempts.
In the second half, Grove City added insurance goals from both Stephanie Wild and Esther Harclerode.
Mills relieved Yeich at the start of the second half and made eight saves on 17 shot attempts by the Wolverines in the second half. Grove City goalie Bethany Preston earned the win after making four saves in 90 minutes of action.
Waynesburg continues conference play on Saturday, Oct. 6, when it hosts Bethany College during Homecoming weekend. The game between the Yellow Jackets and Bison is scheduled to start at 9 a.m. at John F. Wiley Stadium.
