LATROBE, Pa. (Sept. 22) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team dropped a 3-0 match (30-15, 30-28, 30-21) to Westminster College in Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) action on Saturday afternoon in a tri-match hosted by Saint Vincent College.
Juniors
Laurie Lindner and
Amanda Jo Morgan led the Yellow Jackets with nine kills each, while sophomore
Jenna Heaston added eight kills. Freshman libero
Rachell Storm registered a team-high 25 digs in the match, while Heaston added 14.
With the loss, Waynesburg falls to 4-10 overall and 1-2 in the PAC, while Westminster improves to 4-10 and 2-1 in league play.
The Yellow Jackets conclude today's tri-match with a 3 p.m. contest against host Saint Vincent.
