RADNOR, Pa. (Sept. 29) – The Yellow Jackets yielded three second-half goals, as the squad suffered a 4-0 loss to Cabrini College on Saturday afternoon.

The loss drops Waynesburg's record to 3-8 overall, while Cabrini moves to 11-1 this season and records its eighth-straight win.

The Yellow Jackets trailed only 1-0 at halftime with the Cavaliers scoring their only goal of the first period in the 13th minute when Joe Rotan beat freshman goalkeeper Ryan Hunsberger, who tied his season high of eight saves in the loss.

Less than 15 minutes into the new period, Cabrini owned a commanding 3-0 lead with goals from Matt O'Shaughnessy and Brian Moran. The Cavaliers added their final tally of the game in the 84th minute when Andrew Jacobs scored off a header.

The shutout loss is the fourth of the season for Waynesburg.

The Yellow Jackets continue their four-game road trip on Tuesday, Oct. 2, when they open conference play against Grove City College.
