WASHINGTON, Pa. (Jan. 5) – In its first action in three weeks, the Waynesburg University wrestling team suffered a 39-6 conference dual loss to Washington & Jefferson, as part of a tri-match hosted by the Presidents Saturday afternoon at the Henry Memorial Center.

LR Neubauer each earned wins in their respective matches. Benczo posted a 6-0 decision over freshman Colin Woods at the 165-pound match. In the heavyweight bout, Neubauer registered a 4-1 decision against freshman Ed Hirsh.
Waynesburg returns to the mats later today with dual matches against Washington & Lee University and Gettysburg College.
