NEW CASTLE, Pa. (March 31) – Led by a round of seven-over 79 (41-38) by junior
Tommy Rohanna (Waynesburg, Pa./Waynesburg Central), the Yellow Jackets shot a 44-over 332 to finish in sixth place at the 11-team Titan Invitational Monday afternoon at the par 72 New Castle Country Club.
Carnegie Mellon University earned tournament champion honors by shooting 12-over 300, defeating second-place Saint Vincent College by six strokes. Sophomore Doug Mehall of the Bearcats captured medalist honors with a one-under 71 (36-36), edging a pair of Tartans by one stroke.
As was the case in the season-opener on Saturday, Rohanna landed the Yellow Jackets' top finish, as he tied for 10th overall after shooting seven-over 79 on the day.
Junior
Sean Call (Mt. Pleasant, Ohio/Buckeye Local) secured his best finish of the season, tying for 15th overall with an 11-over 83 (41-42). Senior
Ryan Reilly (McKeesport, Pa./South Allegheny) shot 12-over 84 to finish the day in a tie for 22nd place.

Ryan Heilman (Elizabeth, Pa./Elizabeth-Forward) rounded the Waynesburg scorers with a 14-over 86 to end the event tied for 36th place, while sophomore
Ryan Work (Mill Run, Pa./Connellsville) carded a 16-over 88 and tied for 42nd place.
The Yellow Jackets resume competition on Monday, April 7, at the The Greens of Greenville for the Thiel College Invitational, which is slated for a 12 p.m. start.
