GROVE CITY, Pa. (Sept. 18) – A young Waynesburg women's tennis team did what they could, but were overpowered by powerhouse squad from Grove City during Thursday afternoon's Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) opener for the Yellow Jackets.

The Wolverines, who are the 21-time defending PAC champions, took the match by the final of 9-0, dropping Waynesburg to 0-4 on the season.

The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Friday, when they hit the road for another PAC showdown, this time with Thomas More. The match is scheduled to get underway at 10 a.m. in Crestview Hills, Ky.
