PITTSBURGH, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team battled valiantly, but saw their season-opening winning streak come to an end at the hands of Point Park on Tuesday.

The Yellow Jackets fell to 2-1 on the season after dropping a 2-1 contest to the Pioneers. Sophomore forward Courtney Ebersole scored her fourth goal of the season, but it wasn't enough to pull out the win. Waynesburg also allowed its first goals of the season.
