BETHANY, W. Va. (Oct. 12) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team travelled to Bethany to face the Bison in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Tuesday.
The Yellow Jackets were swept in a 3-0 match by the set scores of 25-18, 25-14, 25-11. With the loss, Waynesburg fell to 7-15 on the year and 1-9 in PAC play. The Bison are now 17-6 overall and 6-4 in conference action.
Freshman Kaitlyn Blaich led the Yellow Jackets with nine kills. Sophomore Carly Smithyman and freshman Natalie Ranallo contributed 11 and 10 assists, respectively, on the night.
The Jackets return to competition on Thursday, Oct. 14, when they travel to Grove City to face the Wolverines.
