NEW WILMINGTON, Pa. (Oct. 2) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team saw its seven-game unbeaten streak come to an end on Saturday during its first Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) game of the season at Westminster.
The Yellow Jackets (6-3-2, 0-1) managed just five shots on the day in a 2-1 loss. The last shot of the day resulted in a goal by senior Amy Macurdy with just 14 seconds remaining in the contest.
Junior Katrina Kelly played all 90 minutes in net and made four saves on the day. Waynesburg will try to get back on the winning track when they host Thomas More on Thursday, Oct. 7.
