WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 21) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team invites everyone out to a special day of volleyball on Friday, Oct. 22, at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.
Not only will the Yellow Jackets play host to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rivals Saint Vincent and Chatham, but they will also be doing their part to find a cure for breast cancer by hosting a “Dig Pink” tri-match.
The festivities get started at 3 p.m. with the Jackets taking on the Cougars of Chatham. Along with catching the action on the court, fans will be provided with free pamphlets and information on breast cancer and special pink tee shirts will also be available for purchase with all proceeds going to The Side-Out Foundation.
After the day's opening match, Chatham and Saint Vincent will square off at approximately 5 p.m. The final match of the day, which features Waynesburg and Saint Vincent, is scheduled to get going at around 7 p.m.
