Yellow Jackets drop 3-0 contest to Tomcats

WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 25) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team fell 3-0 to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) rival Thiel on Tuesday night at the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse.

The Yellow Jackets dropped the match by the set scores of 25-18, 25-15, 25-11. Sophomore middle hitter Mabel Culp paced the Jackets (8-16, 2-14) in kills with eight, while junior Presley Cupp notched a team-high 25 digs. Sophomore setter Natalie Ranallo tallied 21 assists in the match.

The Yellow Jackets play their final road game of 2011 on Thursday, as they travel to New Wilmington, Pa. to face PAC foe Westminster.
