WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 29) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team ended the season on a high note this Saturday as they swept through a visiting Chatham team and took a 3-0 match on senior day.
 
The Jackets (9-17, 3-15) won the match by the set scores of 25-17, 25-8, 25-13. The loss ends Chatham's season with a 1-28 overall mark and an 0-18 Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) record.
 
The contest marks the final match in the collegiate careers of seniors Jordan Barton, Carly Schubert, Krysta Stanko and Lauren Wagner, who all factored into the victory. Wagner finished second on the team with seven kills, and added eight digs. Jordan Barton chipped in six kills to go along with her eight digs, while Schubert pitched in four kills and six digs.
 
Stanko substituted into the contest primarily as a defensive specialist, contributing three digs and one service ace.
 
Sophmore middle hitter Mabel Culp led the team with nine kills and fellow sophomore setter Natalie Ranallo recorded a team-high 25 assists.
