PITTSBURGH, Pa. (September 17) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team picked up its first Presidents Athletic Conference (PAC) win of the season, defeating the Chatham University Cougars 3-1 on Saturday.
The Jackets won the first set 25-11 before losing the second set 19-25. The Jackets rebounded from the defeat, winning the next two sets 25-15 and 25-21 to clinch the win. Offensively, senior middle hitter
Lauren Wagner led all Jackets with 14 kills, while fellow senior
Jordan Barton and sophomore
Mabel Culp contributed 11 and 10 kills, respectively.
The rest of the stats for the today's match will be released at a later date. The Jackets are back on the road this Wednesday when they travel to Latrobe, Pa. to take on Saint Vincent College in President's Athletic Conference action.
