Courtney Ebersole continue her outstanding final season in Waynesburg as she scored both goals in the Yellow Jackets' 2-1 win at Marietta on Saturday. The triumph pushed Waynesburg's current winning streak to eight games and gave the Yellow Jackets an overall record of 8-1. Marietta fell to 1-7-1 for the year.
The two teams played a scoreless first half before Ebersole found the back of the net for the 10th time this season during the 62nd minute of play. After the Pioneers fired back with a score of their own just before the end of the 79th minute, Ebersole tallied season goal number 11 with less than four minutes left to play in regulation to snatch the win.

Katrina Kelly got the start in net and made five saves to pick up the victory, which Waynesburg earned despite being out-shot 16-11. The Jackets will look to win their ninth-straight on Wednesday, Sept. 28, when they head back to Ohio to face Wilmington. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
