WAYNEBURG, Pa. (Sept. 30) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team opened up Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play on Friday night under cold, rainy skies at John F. Wiley Stadium.
The Yellow Jackets won their 10
th-straight game and moved to 1-0 in PAC play with a 6-0 victory over Chatham. The Jackets are now 10-1 overall, while the Cougars fell to 1-7 overall and 0-1 in conference play. Waynesburg opened the scoring 2:16 into the first half when sophomore

The Jackets out-shot their opponents by a 24-2 margin and attempted nine corner kicks, while the Cougars were shut out in that statistical department. Waynesburg will look to keep its winning ways going on Thursday, Oct. 5, when they host Thiel for another conference clash. Start time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
