Women's tennis drops road match

Yellow Jackets fall 6-3 at Mt. Aloysius

CRESSON, Pa. (Sept. 21) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team hit the road on Friday to take on Mt. Aloysius. A short-handed Yellow Jacket squad dropped a 6-3 decision to the Mounties.
 
Freshman Rachel Klemash improved to 4-0 overall on the week by picking up a win at first singles and teaming up with sophomore Ellen Limback to score a victory at the number-one doubles slot. Freshman Amanda Hooker had a day to remember as she picked up her first collegiate victory by beating Yeo Koo 6-2, 4-6, 6-3 at sixth singles.
 
The Yellow Jackets (2-5) are back in action on Wednesday, Sept. 26, when they host Franciscan for a 4 p.m. match.
