GROVE CITY, Pa. (Sept. 8) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team opened Presidents' Athletic Conference play Saturday when they took on conference rivals Grove City and Thiel.
The Jackets dropped their first match of the day to Thiel in straight sets 25-15, 25-11 and 25-11. Waynesburg tried to bounce back in match two against host Grove City but came up short, falling in straight sets (25-15, 25-20 and 25-17).
Further details will be posted when they become available. The Jackets will return to the court Wednesday when they travel to Beaver Falls, Pa. to face defending conference champion Geneva. Match time is set for 7 p.m.
