Volleyball falls at PAC-leading Bethany

Yellow Jackets drop 3-0 match to Bison

BETHANY, W.Va. (Oct. 17) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Bethany to face the top team in the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) on Thursday night. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 3-0 match to the Bison.
 
Waynesburg (6-18, 1-11) fell by the set scores of 25-10, 25-11, 25-7 to Bethany, which improved to 12-0 in PAC action and 21-8 overall. The Jackets were led by senior outside hitter Amanda Silay, who totaled a team-high six kills. Freshman Morgan Newbauer paced her team with 11 assists, while sophomore Jessica Dorazio paced the visiting squad's defensive efforts with 16 digs.
 
Waynesburg returns home on Saturday, Oct. 16, to host Thomas More in another PAC matchup. Start time is scheduled for 12 p.m.
