WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 23) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team hosted Geneva for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match on Wednesday night. The Yellow Jackets dropped a 3-0 decision to the Golden Tornadoes.
Geneva (19-9, 13-2) took the contest by the set scores of 25-18, 25-8 and 25-12. Waynesburg (6-20, 1-13) was led by senior
Amanda Silay, who put down a team-high seven kills on the night. Senior
Natalie Ranallo helped out the offensive attack with a squad-best 13 assists, while the home defense was paced by sophomore
Jessica Dorazio, who dug out a Jacket-best 19 digs.
Waynesburg will look to score a PAC win on Thursday night, when the Jackets travel to Washington & Jefferson to face the Presidents. Match time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
