Senior punter Dominic Zappa, shown in his role as a backup kicker last year, will not only handle Saturday's punting duties for the Yellow Jackets, but he is also a member of Waynesburg's 2013 Homecoming Court. This year's homecoming king and queen will be announced at halftime of the Jackets' PAC matchup with Thiel.

Things to Watch For
Â
-
Waynesburg is currently riding a seven-game winning streak against Thiel. However, that run of success nearly came to an end last year, before the Yellow Jackets pulled out a one-point victory. Prior to the 2012 thriller, the Jackets had won the previous six meetings by an average score of 38-18.
-
The Yellow Jackets have won their last three homecoming games.
-
Last year's Waynesburg vs. Thiel showdown gave Yellow Jacket fans their first look at the abilities of current starting quarterback Carter Hill. With then-starting quarterback Tyler Fatigante on the bench with an injury, Hill stepped in during the fourth quarter and led the Yellow Jackets on the eventual game-winning drive that spanned 76 yards over 10 plays. Hill hooked up wide receiver Bernie Thompson for a 15-yard touchdown pass that produced the contest-deciding points.
-
If Waynesburg standout senior defensive end Brandon Fedorka should square off with Thiel senior fullback Jamaal Dorsey on Saturday, it wouldn't be the first meeting between the two big men. Back in 2011, they met up on the mat as members of their respective schools' wrestling teams. Fedorka, who was making his collegiate grappling debut, beat Dorsey 7-2 at the Ohio Northern Invitational.
-
Waynesburg's high powered passing attack, which averages the third-most yards per game in the PAC (295.8) features two of the league's top 10 pass catchers in juniors Andrew English and Bernie Thompson. English ranks fifth with a 7.0 receptions per game average, while Thompson is tied for eighth in the conference (5.5 rpg).
-
Saturday's game features two of the top kick/punt returners in the PAC. Thompson is the top punt returner in the league with a 10.0 ypr average. While Thiel sophomore Tim Canady is the second-most effective kick returner in the conference (29.9 ypr), while Thompson ranks fifth in kick return average (20.2).
-
Speaking of highly ranked individual performers, Thiel junior Wes Schmidt leads the PAC in tackles per game (10.2), while Waynesburg senior Bryan Gary is tied for third with 9.5 tpg average. Â
