LATROBE, Pa. (Nov. 1) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team saw its bid for a  third-straight trip to the Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tournament denied by Saint Vincent College on Friday afternoon. The Yellow Jackets were never able to get their offense going, and the Bearcats tallied the game's only goal in a 1-0 victory for the home team.
 
Saint Vincent (10-7-1, 5-3-1) clinched its first ever trip to the PAC postseason after scoring during the third minute of action. It was the sixth 1-0 win of the season for the Bearcats. The Yellow Jackets (8-8-1, 5-3-1) suffered the loss despite out-shooting the home team by an 18-to-nine margin.
 
Waynesburg's season-ending defeat came after suffering recording just one defeat in the previous seven contests. Sophomore goalkeeper Ciara Scott made four saves during her final game of the year.
