Things to Watch For
*- Thanks to last week's 21-17 win over Muskingum, Waynesburg head coach
Rick Shepas became just the third Yellow Jacket head coach to reach the 50-career win mark with the program. Shepas now boasts a 50-33 mark at the helm of the Jackets, which gives him the third-highest winning percentage of any coach who has spent at least four years with the Orange and Black (60.2 percent).
*- The Yellow Jackets showed tremendous discipline during Saturday's win over Muskingum. Waynesburg committed the fewest penalties of any Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) team. Waynesburg gave up just 12 yards on two flags.
Â
*-Speaking of PAC leaders, no one in the conference threw more touchdowns in his respective season debut than junior Waynesburg starter
Carter Hill, who tossed three scoring passes against the Muskies. Senior safety
Bryan Gary tied for the conference lead in tackles after week one with 12 hits, while senior defensive end
Brandon Fedorka's four tackles for loss were the most by any PAC defender.
Â
*-Outside of its PAC opposition, Frostburg State is Waynesburg's most commonly played opponent.
