LATROBE, Pa. (Sept. 25) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled to Saint Vincent College on Wednesday night for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match against the Bearcats. The Yellow Jackets came out on the wrong end of a 3-0 match against the host team.
 
The Jackets (6-11, 1-4) fell by the set scores of 25-11, 25-17, 25-15, and were led by senior middle hitter Mabel Culp, who posted a team-high nine kills on the night. Fellow senior Sam Styche added six successful attacks, while yet another Waynesburg senior, Natalie Ranallo, helped out the attack with 19 assists. Sophomore Jessica Dorazio paced the Jacket defense with a team-high 16 digs.
 
Waynesburg returns home to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse on Saturday, Sept. 28, for a big PAC tri-match featuring Bethany and Washington & Jefferson. The first match of the day is scheduled to be played at 11 a.m.
