Jacket volleyball squares off with W&J

Waynesburg drops 3-0 match

WASHINGTON, Pa. (Sept. 30) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team traveled north on I-79 to take on Washington & Jefferson College in a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) matchup. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to the Presidents.
 
W&J (9-4, 3-3) took the match by the set scores of 25-15, 25-16, 25-16. Waynesburg (5-16, 1-6) was led by duo of junior Kourtney Skinner and freshman Casey Hall, who tied for the team lead with five kills each. Freshman Delaney Deniston helped out with a team-best 19 assists, while Skinner and junior Jessica Dorazio posted 14 and 12 digs, respectively.
 
The Jackets return to the court on Thursday, Oct. 2, when they travel to Grove City for another PAC match. Start time is scheduled for 6:30 p.m.
