WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Oct. 14) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team managed to beat the rain on Tuesday afternoon to squeeze in its Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) match with visiting Bethany. The Yellow Jackets scored a 9-0 victory over the Bison.
 
Junior Rachel Klemash, Senior Alyssa Daniel, junior Emily McDonold, senior Ellen Limback and senior Madison DuBrock all went 2-0 on the day for the Jackets (10-4, 4-3). Senior Lauren Cowden picked up a 6-1, 6-0 victory at sixth singles, while junior Rachel Wilson teamed up DuBrock for an 8-4 triumph at third doubles.
 
The Jackets are scheduled to wrap up the 2014 regular season on Monday, Oct. 20, when they host Grove City. Start time is scheduled for 3:30 p.m.
