Things to Watch For:
  • Waynesburg's 72 meetings with Westminster make the Titans the Yellow Jackets' second most commonly faced opponent (Geneva, 78).

  • Waynesburg's Willie Leavell was honored as the PAC Special Teams Player of the Week on Monday. Leavell electrified the Waynesburg crowd with an 86-yard kick return for a touchdown during the second quarter of Saturday's 35-15 win over Case Western Reserve. The return kept the Spartans from kicking towards Leavell for the remainder of the game, but he was still able to make an impact with his efforts on offense. He picked up 62 rushing yards on just three carries, including a 47-yard run that set up a Yellow Jacket touchdown. Leavell also caught three passes for 15 yards. In all, the senior touched the ball seven times for 163 total yards.

  • Speaking of conference honors, Westminster freshman quarterback Paul Columbo is the current PAC Offensive Player of the Week. Columbo completed a career-best 20-of-30 passes for a career-high 317 yards and while tossing a career-best four touchdowns in Saturday's 40-28 win over visiting Thiel. He competed passes to six different Titans in the Homecoming victory.

  • The Titans have traversed perhaps the toughest schedule of any PAC member to this point in the 2014 season. Westminster has already faced off with nationally recognized programs in Thomas More and Washington & Jefferson, as well as Bethany, which is 4-0 in conference play and 5-1 overall.

  • The young Westminster offense will face a test in a Waynesburg defense that ranks first in the PAC in fewest points allowed per game (18.3 ppg). The Titans' 22.0 points per game scoring average puts them in seventh place in the league.

  • The rejuvenated Jacket running game may have a chance to shine on Saturday, as Westminster's rush defense has allowed the most yards on the ground in the PAC at 197.8 per contest. Waynesburg has averaged 160.8 rushing yards per game.

  • Westminster's Justin Dahl has been one of Westminster's top scoring threats this season. He not only leads the team in total points, but is one of the best kickers in the PAC. Dahl has connected on a league-best seven-of-eight field goal attempts. He has also hit on 13-of-15 PAT tries.

  • Both the Yellow Jackets and Titans are among the top teams in the PAC in terms of the third down conversions. Waynesburg ranks third in the league with a 40 percent conversion average, while Westminster has been successful on 38.5 percent of its tries, good for fourth.

  • Saturday's matchup could very well be determined inside the 20-yard-lines. Westminster currently ranks second in the PAC in red zone offense. They have come away with points on 14-of-17 total opportunities, including a perfect seven-of-seven on field goal tries. Waynesburg, on the other hand, has been among the stingiest defenses in the league when it comes to the red zone. The Jackets have given up points on just 62.5 percent of the opposition's chances. They have also forced two interceptions and two turnovers on downs.
