Women's volleyball takes part in PAC tri-match

Yellow Jackets face off with Saint Vincent and Bethany

LATROBE, Pa. (Oct. 4) – The Waynesburg University women's volleyball team traveled to Saint Vincent College for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tri-match. The Yellow Jackets dropped 3-0 contests to both the host Bearcats and Bethany College.
 
Waynesburg (5-19, 1-9) fell to SVC (12-7, 4-4) by the set scores of 25-14, 25-17 and 25-18. The Jackets ended their day with a 25-8, 25-13, 25-6 loss to the Bison (13-6, 7-1).
 
The Orange and Black was led by junior Kourtney Skinner, who totaled a team-high 15 kills over the two contests. Freshman Delaney Deniston helped out the offense with a combined 28 assists, while junior Jessica Dorazio racked up 33 digs during the tri-match.
 
Waynesburg is back in action on Tuesday, Oct. 7, when the Jackets welcome Washington & Jefferson College to the Rudy Marisa Fieldhouse for a home PAC match. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
