Match Results WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 18) – The Waynesburg University women's tennis team played host to Penn State Altoona on Thursday. After four flights, Altoona withdrew to the match due to a medical emergency and the match was awarded to the Yellow Jackets.
Waynesburg (6-2) picked up contested wins at first and second doubles. Junior

Alyssa Daniel picked up the victory at the number-one spot by the final score of 8-4. The senior pair of
Ellen Limback and
Lauren Cowden added an 8-1 triumph at number-two doubles.
The Yellow Jackets are back in action on Saturday, Sept. 20, when they return to Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play with a home match against Thomas More. Start time is scheduled for 9 a.m.
