Box Score 2 Crestview Hills, Ky. (Sept. 27) – The Waynesburg University volleyball team travelled to Thomas More for a Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) tri-match on Saturday. The Yellow Jackets fell 3-0 to both the host Saints and Thiel College.
The Jackets (5-15, 1-5) dropped their match with the Saints (13-2, 3-0) by the set scores of 25-7, 25-11 and 25-17. Waynesburg followed that up with a 25-9, 25-19, 25-19 setback against the Tomcats (6-11, 3-3).
Junior
Kourtney Skinner led the Yellow Jacket offense with a team-high 12 kills. Freshman
Delaney Denniston posted at team-best 28 assists, while junior
Jessica Dorazio paced the Orange and Black with 28 digs. Skinner completed a double-double with 15 digs.
The Jackets are back in action on Tuesday, Sept. 30, with a road PAC match at Grove City. Start time is scheduled for 7 p.m.
