Box Score WAYNESBURG, Pa. (Sept. 30) – The Waynesburg University women's soccer team played host to NAIA member Point Park University on Tuesday night. The two teams battled through 90 minutes of regulation and a first overtime period before the contest was finally decided in a second 10-minute overtime.
The Pioneers scored 32 seconds into OT period number two to claim the 1-0 victory. The Yellow Jackets (4-4-2) and Point Park (4-7) played about as evenly as they could over the first 100 minutes of competition. The two teams ended the night with six shots each.

Ciara Scott allowed just the one goal over 100:32 of play and made one save.
Waynesburg will try to rebound from the frustrating defeat on Friday, Oct. 3, when it opens Presidents' Athletic Conference (PAC) play with a home game against Grove City. Start time is scheduled for 6 p.m.
